Try restarting your device

To perform a "hard reset", press-hold the home button and the sleep/wake button simultaneously. Wait until the device reboots. It works more often than you'd think!

Delete and re-download the app

Don't worry, you won't have to buy it again. However, you should know that your tasks will be deleted as well.

Will Task Ave. drain my battery faster?

It will affect your battery life, depending on your settings. If "Save battery life" is off, GPS will run continuously in the background. This option sacrifices battery life for accuracy. If it's set to on, Task Ave. will be less accurate — though still quite good! — but place less of a strain on your battery life.

Does Task Ave. have to be running in the background for alerts to work?

If "Save battery life" is set to on, no. Otherwise, yes, the app will have to be left running in the background.

Anonymous data collection? What's that all about?

In an effort to improve the app, we collect anonymous information about how Task Ave. is being used. We collect no personal information of any kind. Your personal details — including name, phone number, and device ID — are hidden from us. We cannot connect the data we collect to any one person or device. That said, we respect your privacy. Data collection can be turned off in the settings, if you prefer.
